交通部規劃2025年前在公有停車場、路邊及機關停車空間建置7,800支充電椿，民間熱烈投入，引爆充電樁巨大商機。

宏茂光電以強大AI影像識別技術，結合攝影機及遠端5G監控系統，發展人工智能快速充電站--包括高速直流充電椿，車牌辨識數位支付系統及智能停車場專用演算法，車牌開頭E或RE的電動車才「准入」，並開啟地鎖。除了防止非電動車占用充電車位，讓充電資源及停車空間服務更多EV電動車車主，也提升停車場的營運效率，往無人化智能管理的方式進軍。

董事長郭佳瑜表示，宏茂光電與台科大電子系及資工系合作完成客製化BMS及EMS等電源管理系統軟體平台，實現安全且智能化充電。近期即將增資至2.38億資本額，宏茂的實力獲得上市公司中探針（6217）肯定，中探針入股持股逾3成，並成為研發及製造策略合作夥伴。

中探針為台灣EV線束及充電槍產品供應商，藉由策略投資與宏茂的軟硬體垂直整合搭配，未來將推出自有品牌充電設備，成為繼台達電、飛宏、起而行之後的高成長潛力本土高階充電樁供應商。董事長郭佳瑜透露，高速直流充電樁將採取特殊電池充電模組式設計，預計以30KW為單元，方便擴充容量，開發速度快且維修方便。

宏茂光電也積極和停車場業者合作，拓展自有品牌充電場域，預計於2022年底前，透過客戶的智能停車場充電樁充電服務外包，將完成10個快充站。臨近昆陽捷運站的示範案自7月開始向台電申請用電施工，宏茂光電替業主在這個200多個車位的大型停車場規劃180KW的高速直流(DC)一站式充電解決方案，以協助停車場運營者客戶進行轉型。

隨著電動車銷售直線上升，董事長郭佳瑜提醒電動車新手，電動車的電量不宜低於百分之十(10%)才充電，也不宜過充，最好充在8成滿的電量。此外，智能充電椿更要具備電壓、電流、阻抗值異常判斷，以確保充電安全。
